I'm trying to make a time lapse video from still  images from a dslr.

When I stitch clip together, jpegs are 5 seconds long.

please advise.

Thanks

You can either set the duration of a single image to 1 frame in Premiere Pro > Preferences > Timeline, under Still Image Default Duration.

Alternatively, if your images are sequentially numbered, you can use the “Import Image Sequence” option in the file selection dialog when importing the first image. This will treat the series as a single video clip, perfect for time-lapse workflows.
