Hello,

is there a way to limi the media cache use in AME?

There is an option in Premiere to limit it to a certain GB size - that option is missing in AME.

The result: I cannot have AME run without watching it because it will fill up my drive until it crashes.

thanks!

    Hi StefanG.,

Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry for the crash issues that you are facing. As of now, there is no option to set a number for the amount of media cache in Adobe Media Encoder. You can share your idea with our engineering team but posting it here: Media Encoder: Hot (325 ideas) – Adobe video & audio apps and till then, you can change the media cache location to increase the space.

    Thanks,

    Shivangi
