Long pause before completion

Hello,

I'm curious about a Media Encoder behavior while rendering.  After the progress bar completes (reaches 100%), there seems to be a long pause before the file is finally written and a check indicates render completion.  Does anyone have any idea why this is?  Sometimes I think the render is failing because it's hard to guess how long this pause will be.  For example, the render below paused at this screen fro about 4 minutes.

Checking you settings: Duration > 1 hour, 60 fps and HighBitrate + Nvidia Codec, it could be that the encoding is done and the muxing of the file (put encoded video + audio together) can take some time, due to the big output file. (As on test you can set the Preset to lowBitrate, what should speed up the muxing.) Currently these additional step will not explicit marked in the encoding panel and only appling to the MPEG formats.
It is a good point. We will track this and see how we can improve this in the future. Thank you for the input.
