Question

Low CPU and GPU usage

Hi. I´m sending sequences from premiere to AME cc2019. And is very weird to see how little the cpu and gpu are working.

I´m in a W10 with

128GB RAM

Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN X

i7 6950x 3.00GHZ

I have the CUDA acceleration selected and seams like no effect. Any Ideas about what I can start looking to improve the performance? Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Export speed or hardware utilization while export is dependent on several factors like the system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM and Storage), type of media used (frame size, frame rate and codec/wrapper), number and type of effects used and the complexity of the project or timeline (number of audio and video tracks used and how they are stacked).

    • Have you used any GPU accelerated effects in your sequence?
    • Please share your system details(RAM, GPU, etc).

Also, you may take a look at this article: FAQ: How do I speed up rendering, exporting, or encoding?

Let me know if it helps.

    Thanks,

    Shivangi

Thanks, I had read the suggested article. My pc configuration is...

    128GB RAM

    Nvidia GeForce GTX TITAN X

    i7 6950x 3.00GHZ

I´m rendering for VR 4k. I know the size and time it will be at least 4 times more but my concern is that I feel the CPU and GPU ar not working more than 25%.

Most of the VR effects are GPU accelerated. I also feel is faster to render from AF or Premiere than render from Encoder.

    Thanks
