Question
Lower resolution file exported at a higher resolution. Any benefit to image quality?
Just wanted to confirm that there's no reason to encode, say, a 16 Mbps file at 20 Mbps, both H.264 codecs with MP4 wrappers. In fact, would it end up degrading the image a little or just have no effect but give you a larger file when there's no benefit to the file being a little larger than the original?
