ME Crashes while creating proxies from ProRes Raw

I am trying to create proxies from some ProRes Raw footage and while doing so Media Encoder crashes within seconds of starting the process. I have tried doing the clips individually and in a queue, both with the same result.

The footage was shot on a S1H with Atomos Ninja V. I am trying to create the proxies on a MBP Dual-Core 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16GB of Ram.

Any sugestions?
