Media encoder 2022 not receiving projects from After Effects 2022 into its queue

Hello,

I recently updated the adobe suite to the 2022 version and ever since I have been experiencing an issues with media encoder. When I export a project from after effects into media encoder, by hitting the 'add to adobe media encoder queue' option, encoder will open but will not load the project. I don't get any error messages, the program just opens and nothing happens afterwards. I have twice had to uninstall and reinstall both programs and after each time encoder will perform correctly a couple of times, and then the issues will occur again. I haven't found any info about this issue online so I'm not sure if others are experiencing it but hopefully there is some kind of fix for this somewhere because this is becoming extremely annoying.
