Media Encoder app just disapeared from my laptop!

So I finished editing a video in Premiere, and go to export via media encoder but nothing happens. So went to the windows start and looked for app, and it's not even listed. Then I went to programs files to look for the .exe file, and nothing! Completely gone! The Adobe Media Encoder folder was still in the program files folder, but the .exe file, nowhere to be found. So I opened the creative cloud desktop app, and I find that there's a update "waiting". Waiting for what? The second coming? Fast & Furious 34? Great timing Adobe.  Anyways, I am thinking that the update was happening in the background and when it came time to update/download the .exe file, that was the same time I wanted to use the app and something got hung up. I thought Creative Cloud was supposed to make things better? Any thoughts, comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there,

This is new to me. I have never seen it happen before. Even if there is an update download in progress, the previous version should be there on the computer.

I'll definitely look into this.

Meanwhile, I'd like to mention that the waiting status means that some other application is getting downloaded or updated.

Could you check that?

Let me know.

Thanks,

Shivangi
