Media Encoder cannot open HEVC H.265 HDR 10-bit videos

I have been struggling with Adobe support to make Media Encoder successfully open HEVC H.265 HDR 10-bit videos. This is actually the only reason I got a CC plan.

Public examples of videos with this problem:

Demo Ultra-HD - LG Chess - HDR

Demo Ultra-HD - LG Colors of Journey - HDR

Can somebody please try to open these in Media Encoder?

My setup: Windows 10 64 bit, GTX 1070

The error I see is: The file Filename.mp4 could not be imported. The source file appears to be corrupted. Please check that it is a valid file.

I confirmed with support that I have the HEVC codec installed correctly, as I can successfully export HEVC.
