Question

Media Encoder CC2019 - NO sound after upgrade

I just upgraded media encoder to version 2019 and I cannot export videos with sound anymore.

I tried different formats and presets, nothing works.

I need advice how to solve this problem, or even better I need advice how to downgrade back to old media encoder.

Check your audio hardware settings in the Preferences.

I didn't manage to render out files with sound. It's some kind of bug.

Faster way was to downgrade AECCv16 back to AECCv15.1.2 and MediaEncoderCCv13 to MediaEncoder v12.1.2

Now everything works fine.

My advice for other AE users - don't upgrade.

As Ann said, you should check your preferences. If this was a bug that affected everyone, it wouldn't have been released as it would have been immediately caught. The latest versions have some incredible features that are totally worth upgrading for. If you'd like try with the latest version again there are several simple troubleshooting steps we can try.
