Media Encoder CS 6 Crashing (have crash log) (Mac OSX 10.6.8)

We have been getting crashes, mostly while running Media Encoder CS6, where there is a crash... screen goes dark and fans run fast.  Here is the crash report, perhaps this may show a possible fix?:
