Hi,

I've not used Media Encoder for a few months, but now that i come back to it, it refuses to start. It provides error code 0XC0000005. I've removed the application and re-installed twice - once retaining preferences and once removing them.

Any ideas on how to fix are more than welcome. Full error copy below:

Hi philwantling,

I assume that you have Nvidia's graphics card because I have seen this issue with Nvidia only.

Let us know about the status of your issue. In case if it hasn't been fixed yet, please try these steps:

  • Go to NVIDIA control panel and modify the settings under 3D programs. Select Integrated Graphics in Preferred Graphic Processor, not NVIDIA.
  • Update the drivers of Intel GPU through Windows Updates or from the system manufacturer drivers download website.

Thanks,

Kulpreet Singh
