Media Encoder hangs up on "Reading XMP" when "import sequences natively" is unchecked

Question

Media Encoder hangs up on "Reading XMP" when "import sequences natively" is unchecked. I need it unchecked though so my LUTS and color corrections will apply to the exported clip.

I'm running Catalina on a new Mac Pro 2019. More system details on the screenshot attached.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

FIX: Had to remove all sequence markers in order for Adobe Media Encoder 14.0.1 (build 70) to get past 'reading xmp'.    Hello overpaid Sr. Mgmt....Its called regression testing..you guys should give it try sometime....these updates are totally rookie level hacks....I love your stuff but you need to step up your game...take a harder look at who you have managing the team please.
