Media Encoder has stopped working (on Windows 7)

My company uses Windows 7 Enterprise and all CC applications work great except for Media Encoder - it will not launch. It gives the following error message:


    A check online for a solution yields nothing. Does anybody have suggestions for this problem?

    My IT support guy solved the problem. It was an NVidia video card driver problem. As soon as he upgraded the video driver, Media encoder worked as normal.

    Hi Gordon,

    I am sorry that you are not able to use Adobe Media Encoder on your PC.

    Do you have Administrative rights on this computer?

    It could be an issue of permissions (on your user profile), have you checked with your IT Team?
