Media Encoder is stuck during rendering

Hi there!

There's a problem with Media Encoder. After successfully rendering some other projects, now it doesn't seem to work anymore.

I exported an animation from Adobe After Effects to the Media Encoder Queue, and I wanted to export it as a mp4 file.

As you can see, I already waited for more than half an hour. What to do? I'm kind of new to the field of working with these apps, so hopefully there is an easy fix. Thank you in advance!

By the way, I use After Effects 2023 and Media Encoder 2023, on a Mac OS Monterey 12.6.3.

I am sorry to hear that. Do you have any 3rd party plug-ins or effects installed?

Hi. I'm having a similar problem to the post above. My media encoder has suddenly started crashing; not only does it crash AME but my entire laptop freezes to the point where I have force-restart it. This has happened at least ten times with the latest project I am trying to render. Yes, it does use 3rd-party plug-ins, but it's the same plug-ins I have used for all of my previous projects which haven't had this issue with AME. The recent project is not heavier than usual, actually it is way lighter than my usual projects. I have no idea why this is happening suddenly. Thanks in advance for your help.
