Media Encoder lags to connect to Dynamic Link

Question

Im running media encoder 15.2 on a late 2014 mac mini running Big Sur and it takes forever to connect to dynamic link when rendering from after effects. Curiously, the same issue doesnt happen with Premiere Pro. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all, and I have to restart the whole system and try again. Its been like this for some versions now. Any tips?

We're sorry to hear about this. We can get this checked, Please let us know the version of After Effects that you are using. Also, is this happening while rendering any specific After Effect comp, or is it with all the compositions?
