Media Encoder not working with Quicktime Files

OSX 10.11.6

Graphics Card -  AMD FirePro D500

BlackMagic Ultra Studio 4K v10.8.4

Media Encoder suddenly will not function from Quicktime Source Movie File Apple ProRes 422 source.  After selecting Start Queue nothing occurs, The status shows as Ready.  If I hit Stop it asks if I want to finish the current file, as if it is working.

It will work coming from a Premiere Pro Sequence Export.

Restarted the computer multiple times.  Have tried Creative Cloud Cleaner and Uninstalled and Reinstalled Media Encoder but same result.  I have not added any new hardware of software.

I'm experiencing this too, though I haven't yet tried a Premiere Pro Sequence Export yet. My ProRes (HQ) file was created in Media Encoder. I tried this with the second most recent version of Media Encoder and when that didn't work, I updated to the most recent.
