Media Encoder swears it's not going to render my videos

I was rendering video after video each week for my YouTube channel.

Media encoder was just fine but after a few testings and modifications I made to the video with the latest 2022 update it starts off by rendering a few frames and then suddently stops! No messages. Just stops.

When I look through the task manager I can see the "Adobe After Effects" processor not using my CPU to render. It's almost like it wants to stop whenever it wants. I tried everything and I almost punched a hole to my monitor because of this suddent decision the program made.

my CPU is an i5-10600K with a GTX 1650 Super. I'm using GPU acceleration when rendering as well.

All the plugins I use are RedGiant Trapcode, Saphire, Videocopilot Twitch.

Problem solved.

For some reason it's because I have Frame Blending for some layers so disabling them fixes it. I still don't know why though.

Hi The best24444636xg49,

We're sorry to hear about this. Have you tried switching the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only & checked if it's exporting properly? Also, are you able to export the comp directly from After Effects?

Thanks,

Sumeet

If I switch to Software Only and it also renders for a minute then stops. The reason why I don't want to use After Effects Renderer is because it's atleast x3 the size and not the settings that I want.

I'm having the same problem the dam thing just will not render but a few frames and then hangs! Its useless! Adobe updates programs but they don't bother to check if the dam thing works before they put out the updates. Adobe is getting pretty janky with the way they put out software. And it's getting worse. How are professionals supose to use this software with deadlines and sudden emergency tasks that need to be done. And then when you ask for help the most they can give you is well change everything in your settings that don't do nothing, and these are things that should work no matter what. And after arguing for days you finally get no answer from them, and then they finally just put out another update but ususally it takes a few updates to fix the problem if at all! Get your act together ADOBE.
