Media Encoder won't open!

Hi

 

I have tried to open media encoder but it just gets stuck on the loading screen, a few times it has opened but just crashes when attempting to load projects! (I just get the rainbow wheel)

 

I have deleted all plug-ins and cache as well as uninstalling and reinstalling, none of this appears to be working

 

Any suggestions?

    Anyone find a solution to this? I'm having the same problems on the day I'm exporting final projects. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times.

      I am having the same problem. If I open Media Encoder from the icon it just spins at welcome screen. I get not responding.  If I open Media Encoder from After Effects the icon shows up on my doc but nothing happens and it says not responding.  I am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling next. Adobe please advise.

        I switched to the previous version (15.2) and now it works.

        I tried this, it opens now but won't import anything. It either doesn't appear or just get stuck trying to import

          I have the same problem. I'm on Mac mini M1 if it matters.


          By the way, Premiere shut down unexpectedly today and asked me to sign in. Don't know if it's connected somehow.

          I'm getting errors too but mine are slightly different. I get this message when trying to open the application on a Macbook Pro. My Media Encoder app auto updated yesterday morning and hasn't worked since.

          EDIT: I cannot export directly to Encoder from After Effects, when trying to add manually I get stuck at this screen

            I'm having the same problem... has been working fine for the past few days, and of course when I have to export the final project it doesn't work. Hope it gets solved
