.mxf to h.264 conversion hardware acceleration error

When converting recordings from a Sony Anycast to H.264, I get an error popup "your system does not support hardware acceleration for the current settings". The only way it allows me to enable hardware acceralation is by choosing the 'Base' H.264 profile. Why might this be?

Dell Precision 7850

i7-10850H

Nividia Quadro RTX 3000 (I have the RTX studio drivers installed)

You're referring to the Performance pop-up menu found under the Video tab in the Encoding Settings, right? 

 

That's CPU-based and Premiere Pro supports whatever Intel QuickSync allows for.
