Not Linking to Media Encoder

I'm trying to export an AE file through the Media Encoder, and it will open up AME but then no video will pop up in the window to start rendering. AE takes me to the encoder but then the video will not appear. I've read through threads and seen similar issues but not this one where it just doesn't show. 

Running 
AME 2019 13.1.5
AE 2019 16.1.3

macOS Catalina 10.15.6

Hi there,

Sorry for the trouble. I understand you're unable to export AE project from AME. 

  • What happens when you import the .aep file manually in Media Encoder?
  • Are you able to export AE project directly from AE?
  • Have you used any third party plug-ins in your After Effects project?
