So is there any news on what the issue actually is?

Three months is plenty of time to fix this or at least tell us why it isn't fixed?

Or is it just to hard to tell users that PR cannot run ProRes from ExFAT drives?

How many users out there just think their machine is running slow? I swapped data between several HD's SSD's and laptops before I identified the issue and came here.

Yes, I've adapted my workflow to compensate, but as an editor who has to jump between operating systems, this is quite a frustration.

Fixed. Update to 13.1 or later.
