Premiere Pro Proxies - need to interpret for anamorphic 1.33

I just finished creating proxies for a project that was shot in 4k anamorphic.

Once I created proxies, it does not give me the option to interpret to 1.33.

Do I need to interperet all footage before I make the proxies? (its almost 1TB of video and took about 9 hours to encode)

I have never worked with anamorphic or proxies before.
