Queue won't start conversion, stuck on 'ready'. What to do? (Windows)

I've only just started using Creative Cloud on Windows for the first time. I've been needing to convert some .ts files to MP4, so naturally turned to Media Encoder. After choosing my settings and whatnot, I press play, only to find that nothing happens and it seemingly never initiates. Is there something I'm doing wrong? What could be done to solve this issue? Any ideas welcome and appreciated

    I am having the exact same problem and im using the latest version atm 14.4.

    Did you find a fix? Getting that issue now and I'm getting annoyed. I can export using premiere but I have multiple projects I would like to work on while that's exporting.

    Hi MatthewJames,

    What are your system specs and which version of Adobe Media Encoder you have?

    Is this issue specific to those .mts files only?

    Please try converting files from a different source and of different properties.
