Rec 709 in H.264

When exporting extreme horizontal files, for example 9312 (w) x 96 (t), I've noticed that H.264 files are getting tagged with Rec 601 rather than Rec 709.  Even when trying to force Rec 709 using the new color managment features in AME, 601 is still the tag on these files.

 

Any thoughts?  Am I doing something wrong or is this just a bug?

Some screenshots of settings.  This with a more narrow width (3330 w 72 t).  Still 601.
