Rendering - Mercury Software vs CUDA

Rendering with Mercury Software only is way faster than CUDA in Media encoder. What could probably the reason ?

System Build :

i7 8700k

64 gb ram

1080ti gtx

2 tb NVME ssd

Im very confused. i just noticed this , after hearing something from another friend who also facing the same .

    Hi deejayzen,

    I understand your concern and thanks for sharing the system details. The video renderer used to process the edit(playback or export) is dependent on the project's complexity and the export settings.

    • Are you exporting any After Effects/Premiere Pro projects or transcoding a file from AME?
    • Do you get the same performance for all the projects/files?
    • As @Rick Gerard mentioned, it is important to know the workflow that you have used. Could you share some more details?

    More things are accelerated with Mercury than with CUDA. The actual speed difference depends entirely on what you are doing in your comp. Without complete workflow details, and I do mean complete, a more specific answer than that is only a guess.
