Splitting Videos and exporting with same propotionate size (not 3x bigger)

Hey,

I'm facing again a problem and still don't know how to handle it.

I shoot with my Canon 60D.

I just wanna split my 5min long video into 3 short videos.

The 5min long video is ~1.4GB => 280MB per minute

My short 10 seconds video have 150MB (instead of ~50MB)

My present for that in Media Render Queue is

- Format: Quicktime

- Codec: Photo JPEG (quality: 80)

Nothing else I've changed... (maybe thats the problem )

Also tried Quicktime with other codecs, but its either worse or kind of the same.

How can I render .mov files which are not so huge but have still a good quality?

Or is there a nice technical answer, why canons mov is so small? haha
