Updated AME and Mac OS, now Export Setting dialogue box is very very slow [v 13.1.3]

After updating both my Mac OS and AE and AME, When I try to open "Export Settings" in AME, I get a lot of spinning beach balls - after every button I push. Very slow and sluggish. Previously responded instantly. Anyone else experiencing this, or know of a fix?

Specs:
Late 2013 Mac Pro
Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6
AE Version 16.1.2
AME Version 13.1.3
 
GPU: AMD FirePro D500 3 GB
64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3

Hi there,

 

This is not ideal. The time taken to open a file in AME for export is dependent on various factors, however the issue here is with the export settings. Thanks for sharing the system details. I'd like to know a few more things to troubleshoot the issue further:

 

  • Where have you saved the project files that you are sending to Media Encoder?
  • Does it happen with every project?

Hi Shivangi,
- I always save in AE before sending to AME
- It does happen with every project

It started when I updated to Mojave.
Then I updated all my CC apps to try to fix it, and the problem still occurs.

For clarification, the project file is saved to a Thunderbolt RAID. I also use a dedicated SSD cache drive for AE.
