Watch folders need re adding after each launch

Everytime i close the media encoder application the watch folders and the presets attached to them are deleted - i need to re add them. 

My render PC has its watch folder pointed at a NAS storage solution. 

The tick box for "automatically clear settings on application quit" has never been turned on.
