What is happening at the tail of your After Effects Composition?

 

If you cannot find something in the Composition that may be causing the delay at the tail of the export, try rendering a High Quality or Lossless movie file via the After Effects Render Queue first and then use the resulting file in Adobe Media Encoder to encode it to whichever format you're using in AME.
