Why is Media Encoder 5x slower than AE on M1 Max?

Dear Adobe,

How come Media Encoder very rarely works as expected. There is always a few happy months when everything just works... then breaks again...

For instance, export speed on M1 Max were consistent and great and compareable with AE, with the latest update it's unusable. If export speeds work, you have to deal with Dyanmic Bridge not sending files through to Media Encoder properly.

Just how am I supposed to setup my Mac so everything works as expected?
