3D Transform disappears within component groups

Hey Everyone,

 

I am on version 45.1.62.3 of Adobe XD and the 3d transform button dissapears when in componet groups.  Here are two pictures. One is me selecting the whole componet group and you can see the 3D transform button. The second is within the componet group and the 3d transform button dissapears. Any tips would be appreciated!
