Accesing states of other groups or objects on artboard

Hi!

I'm relatively new to Adobe XD and yet have to find my way around it.

I would like to make some kind of item cycle where the user can cycle trough variations of an object ( in my case, ruleset explanation in the middle of the screen) via some "next" and "previous" buttons. Is it possible to link the buttons to the states of another object ( the different states of the ruleset object) on the artboard and not their own states or whole different artboards alltogether?

Any help or quickhacks would be greatly apprecciated!

    Hi Sarah,

Thanks for reaching out. If I understood you correctly, you are referring to this feature: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/38959297-allow-components-event-to-change-states-of-other-c

If yes, I am afraid, this option is yet not available in XD so please upvote this request to add voice to the feature.

    Regards

    Hi Rishabh,

    sounds like it, unfortunately.

Well then, upvoting the request and just using more artboards in the meantime.

Thanks for the quick answer, though!

    Regards

    Sarah
