Question

Add search to documents overview

I have a feature suggestion to make: I have a lot of projects in AdobeXd and if I want to work on a specific project with a name it's really annoying to search the name by going through the whole list.

A search field where you can find projects by your name would make this UX so much better. I would be also happy with a client side field where you just search substrings in your project name (would be much better than nothing)

Although i didn't know that you could search in the the creative cloud desktop app, I would argue like @Dan Rodney and @MichaelCab that there should be a search option within adobe xd. I too have a lot of project, and I rarely use the creative cloud app. That is mostely for opening fonts and updating apps.

Would highly appreciate such a feature - as I am sure my employer would as well 🙂

The Creative Cloud desktop app lets you search your files, but I agree that the experience should be better. I'd love to see normal desktop behavior that as I start typing it moves down to the right file. Other people agree with the need for a search field, please upvote this feature request. https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/36825367-search-document-in-cloud

Hi MichaelCab,

for suggestions, advice and feedback, you can write directly here: adobexd.uservoice.com

However, you can search your documents directly from the Creative Cloud.
