Add videos to scroll group or carousel using Anima

The new scroll group feature is great, but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to include a video in the scroll group. Is this possible on XD? I've tried using the Anima plugin, but haven't had much luck. The video works when I embed it alone. The issues start when I try to include it in a scroll group as seen in the images below:
