I think with how different both environments are, the chances it's going to work smoothly (if at all) are near zero.

If you have a huge  design system and hundreds of components, assets and interactions, it will be a miracle if even the assets remain unchanged, let alone any functionality. You'll spend more time fixing things than you would just rebuilding. And for small projects it's not worth it. So I don't see them bothering with it to be honest 🙂
