And Adobe may be working on updates for XD on macOS 27, but it’s a beta OS release that’s not even in public beta. So they have months to create an update before macOS 27 will be officially released.

Adobe XD development ended about 3 years ago and has been in maintenance mode to give everyone enough time to move to another design app (such as Figma). It’s just a matter of time until Adobe ends all support for XD (though I have no insider knowledge of their plans and I’m not an Adobe employee so I don't speak for them).

Honestly, I really love Adobe XD. It is incredibly lightweight, consumes very few system resources, and integrates seamlessly with other Adobe software. That is why it remains my primary design tool. Personally, I cannot stand web-based interaction design tools because they do not support offline work. I am not a fan of Sketch either, as it is just too resource-heavy. However, XD has not been updated for a long time now and lacks proper compatibility with the latest macOS, which is a major issue.
