Adobe XD crashes when quitting on Mac, Big Sur

Question

The title says it basically. When hitting Command-Q on Mac to quit XD, I get the beachball of hell, and nothing happens until I force quit it.

Hay anyone experienced the same problem and found a solution?

Latest version of XD and Big Sur.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please ensure that you have the latest version of XD which is 38.1. In case if XD is up to date and still, it's crashing, please collect and share system logs by following the steps shared here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html

Please add the log file to a shared location like Google Drive or DropBox and share the link through DM by clicking on my name.
