Adobe XD immediate crash

Hey Guys,

My adobe experience design crashes right after the minute I opened it.

It shows no errors or anything like that. It just shows the screen without any content and after a few seconds (which look like starting up the file I selected) it just crashes.

I already deinstalled it and installed it again. Turning my computer on and off doesn't work either :')

The other adobe programms start without any trouble.

Is there a kind enough prince on a white horse or just someone who can help me with this problem?

I desperately need it to work!

THANKS!!

Hi Peter,

I don't really know what I did (or if I even did anything), but it works! It magically started working again, so happy me

I started using XD in february I guess and have had 1 update. I'm currently using the newest version of XD (v. 0.6.16) and was using this one already for a few weeks before the crash-thingie happened.

Sadly I don't have a crash code or anything to give to you to prevent this kind of problems in the future. I hope my notification is enough tho.

Thanks for the advice and the comments!

Kind regards,
Lydie

Any suggestions to solve this problem?  On one of my Windows 10 PCs Xd is working find; however, on another Windows 10 PC it is not.  I get the white launch screen for about 5 seconds then it exits.  I tried to uninstall, run the CC cleanup tool, then reinstall, but no solution.

Please note that on both PCs I am running the Windows 10 Creators Update.

For all of you who are experiencing crashes, we're looking for crash dumps from you. It would really help if you could enable crash dumps and make the application crash again.

For those who are crashing on launch, a couple of people have reported that a number of different things have fixed their installs:

Hope that helps!

Thanks,

I have some dumps to send through.  What is the best way for me to send them to you?

Full Dump (setting 2) is 200Mb
Basic Dump is 4MB.

Hi lydievh, could you follow these steps to enable crash logging: Collecting User-Mode Dumps (Windows).  Then, please upload the crash dump to a file-sharing site and PM me a link.

Btw, did earlier versions of Adobe XD work on this same computer?  If so, please let me know which verion(s) worked in the past and which version you're using now.

Thanks, and sorry for the problem you're running into!
