Adobe XD is outdated, figma has surpassed it

Adobe XD is a product that has potential, but it falls short in several areas, making it feel outdated for the community. The reliance on a private cloud with no external CNAME links or the ability to export designs directly to the web limits its usefulness for internet-based projects. The inclusion of animation features seems unnecessary when they can only be utilized within Adobe's private cloud. In reality, there are web applications that surpass Adobe XD by offering comprehensive solutions.

In conclusion, Adobe XD is a decent product, but corporate decisions have transformed it into a standard information tool that is only suitable for specific use cases, rendering it unsuitable for end users. If graphic and animation exports to HTML or something similar to CNAME for DNS were introduced, it would change my perspective. At the moment, it feels nothing more than a limited tool.

    You are right that Figma surpassed XD, which is why Adobe is buying it. XD is on the way out as Figma will replace it.

      Design apps like XD and Figma (which Adobe has announced their intent to purchase) are not meant to code designs for you. They are design tools first and foremost. Figma just announced improved tools for smoothing the handoff to developers, which should help. But people should not expect design apps to produce perfect code. Developers are needed to add logic and functionality. Design apps need to allow creative freedom to explore what makes for a good design.

        I meant that when you download a plugin for XD web export and in the body you have a banal animation, like a floating menu or something similar, and during export you get crooked HTML, it definitely does not make a positive impression, because when you study this product, try to do something yourself, and then you do not see even a basic animation export, it does not make a positive impression at all, this is what marketers and other product authors should think about. To have an animation that you can view only in the program seems stupid to me. That's why figma was ahead of IxD. The next step will be 3D integration, if Adobe can't handle this issue, you'll have to buy someone else)))
