Adobe XD lagging in preview window when scrolling down

When scrolling down in the preview window, the window freezes for 1/2 second. It feels like the next fragment of the preview is loading. CPU, memory and GPU usage remains low.

Additional bug reports:

- Adobe XD starts to slow down after few hours of work and I have to close the project then open it again.

- Sometimes the windth/height input remains "active" even when i click to unfocus it.

- Sometimes the width/height input doesn't allow me change the value (or write "+ N px" or "- N px").

Specs:
16 GB RAM

Ryzen 5 5600X
GTX 1050Ti
Samsung 860 EVO

Hi there,

We're so sorry to hear about the trouble and for the delay in response. Could you please share a few more details like:

  1. The version of XD.
  2. Is it freezing on this file or multiple files?
  3. Please collect system logs by following the steps shared here  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-log-collector.html
  4. Please collect spin dump by following the steps shared here:
  • Launch Task Manager
  • Select the Adobe XD process
  • Right click on the Adobe XD process
  • Select “Create dump file”
  • This will generate a binary file

Please add both the files to a shared location like Google Drive or DropBox and share the link through DM by clicking on my name.

Regards
