Adobe XD not working on macOS10.14.6

Hello, 
Upon completion of the 1st course of the Google UX design Certificate, Coursera rewarded me with a 9-month long free subscription to Adobe XD. However, on trying to download, the app Adobe XD says 'Does not work on this device'. I work on macOS 10.14.6. Could you tell me why?
