Adobe XD Scatch Disk Problems

I've been having issues with my hard drive just being drained. At first, I thought it was because of Dropbox as I have everything in there but it's on Smart Sync so it shouldn't be the issue. I've tested this already and know that is not the issue. I realize the real problem is Adobe XD. When I have multiple files open I can visually see that my hard drive space goes way down. So even when my file is in an external drive that I'm working off of, the scratch disk is still located on my local hard drive. Unlike Photoshop, it allows user to select the scratch disk or use multiple drives for the scratch disk. Anyone else has this issue? Is there a workaround? When will there be an update that can allow users to switch scratch disks?

    Hi Wilson,

Sorry to hear about the trouble and also for the delay in response. I am afraid, as of now, we don't have an option in XD to set a custom scratch disk. I will pass on your feedback to the Engineering team and you can do that too by upvoting this request: https://adobexd.uservoice.com/forums/353007-adobe-xd-feature-requests/suggestions/36617554-set-scratch-disk

This is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product Management teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.

Thank you for your response. I really hope this can be done soon. If you can do that with Photoshop I'm sure you can do that with XD. It seems like XD uses so much more space than PS at times.
