Adobe XD sometimes does not save

Sometimes, when I reopen my XD file, not all of my changes have been saved ie. the last few changes that I made before closing were not saved.

My project is saved as a cloud document. I have a PC. I am a compulsive saver and press ctrl+s about every minute or so. I always ensure that my project says that it is "saved" before I close out of XD, yet sometimes when I reopen it, this is not the case.

So far this issue has not appeared when I save my XD files as local documents, but I am very nervous about losing important progress.
