I know there isn't a way to import video into XD as of now. But how about prototyping multiple sequence frames manually? If this could work in theory any tips on shortening the labor? Thank you.

    By the sound of your query you could achieve what you want using Auto-Animate.

    Create your first screen, Alt-Drag to copy it, make the changes you want. Repeat as many times as you need.

    Then in Prototype, connect each page, choose Time as the Trigger, and set a time for transition.

    You can aslo import video into Photoshop and export video as sequence of images and use that images for animating video in XD
