Artboard fill disappears when using it as an overlay.

When using an artboard with a semi transparent fill color as an overlay in prototype mode the fill checkbox unchecks. You then have to go back to design mode to ez it

    Thanks for answering. You say "that is working as expected", so it's meant to work the way I showed in the video? If that's the case, I don't understand why. If I recheck the fill of the artboard after I made it an overlay it keeps working, so that's my workaround for now.

    Why does it do this? There must be a reason?

     

    When you create a new canvas/artbord, it automatically gets a white fill and the check box is checked...

     

    I would expect it to remain checked untill I un-check it... What is the reason for this?

    Hi Simonc, thank you for reaching out. I understand your point. That is working as expected. However, as a workaround, you can fill the artboard with a rectangle and fill the rectangle with a grey color. Let me know if this works for you.
