Artboard sen as pasteboard in xd, cannot export

Question

Hello all, hope you can help me with this. I was sent an xd file and want to export it into html. I tried doing it with the file/export menu and also through a plugin (web export). I am unable to get the export done, and get an error message 'no artboard found. you cannot export a pasteboard.' Does anyone have a way around this? I am a complete beginner in xd so would much appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hi Barbara,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Please ensure that you have the latest version of XD and the Web export plugin and try re-intsalling the plugin if it's already up to date. If it still doesn't work, I'd request you to contact Web Export plugin support, as it seems more of a plugin issue. To contact them, please right-click on Web export plugin and then support.
