Artboard time trigger failed when I activate the interaction of the component in the artboard

In my cases,

I have two artboards (A, B), and artboard A have a time trigger with 1s delay.

So after 1s, artboard A will be changed to the artboard B.

Artboard A has a 'Rectangle' which has a component interaction. when the mouse cursor hovers over the Rectangle, the rectangle changed the color itself.

Then in the preview,  if the mouse cursor hovers over the rectangle in the artboard A, the time trigger is not working, so artboard A is not changed to the artboard B regardless of the time.

Is there any approach to co-exist the time trigger & component interaction??

Hi 정욱최76095022,

Thank you for your patience. The team confirmed that this is currently expected behavior. Only one interaction can occur at a time so if you have a time trigger and then do a hover trigger and interact with the over the time trigger is canceled.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Harshika

Hi, I'd like to bring this back into a discussion, as I believe the current behavior is flawed and is more like a bug than a feature.

What I mean is that the workaround is to transition to a new artboard with a time-trigger after interacting with a component. Which defeats the purpose of having component states altogether. I'll just create those 2 different states on the 2 separate artboards then in the first place.

I think that the interactive component with states (e.g. hover / toggle) should not cancel the transition trigeer (time in this case) or should 'reset' it to 0 when interacted with and start counting from the last interaction with the component.

E.g. of these 2 options.

1. An artboard with a time trigger+transition should reset the time when a component on it is interacted with  (changes state)

2. An artboard with a time trigger+transition should still transition in the origital time when a component on it is interacted with (changes state)

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I am able to reproduce this on my end so I'll go ahead and share the feedback with the Engineering team and will update this discussion as soon as I hear from the team.
