Been using XD live preview all year and it has suddenly stopped working

Latest windows10, latest iOS software, latest XD version.  

 

I’m using an iPhone X.

 

I’ve updated and reinstalled everything (XD, XD iOS app, iTunes and restarted phone and restarted computer also.)

 

I’m constantly getting the black “open an XD document screen”  and my iPhone is not appearing on the devices like it used to in the top right of Adobe XD desktop.

 

I’ve tried 3 different USB cables, and different USB ports. But it’s not as if nothing is connecting to the iPhone as iTunes etc are all working seamlessly it just won’t pickup that live preview. 

 

I’ve read the 5 or so older threads that experienced the issue a while back but nothing suggested has fixed the issue. 

 

Ive been using XD live preview all year so I’m not sure what has changed since I last connected a few days ago.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is really frustrating.

Thanks for sharing the information and descriptioin. I'll be happy to help you out here, however, I might need some more details before I proceed.

  • Have you tried to use a different phone or a desktop?
  • Are you able to open could documents in the app?
  • Would you mind sharing the exact version of XD on your mobile device and desktop?
