Can't import Sketch Files

I updated XD both on my Mac and my PC but when I try to import the Sketch file I am not able to do it. The file is grayed out and I can't event start the import or open process.

Hey loscamos,

Please check if you are able to import as mentioned below?

  • In Sketch, select one or more layers or groups, and click Make Exportable.

  • Choose SVG as the format, and drag-and-drop the layer from Sketch into XD.

    The content is inserted as an editable vector content in XD.

If it still doesn't work would you mind sharing a small sketch file with us so that we can investigate and try fixing it?
